WHO IS
Apostle Dwight Buckner Jr.
After confirmation of the call to preach, Buckner enrolled at Beulah Heights Bible College in Atlanta, GA earning his B.A. in Leadership Administration. Buckner later decided to continue his education at the Pentecostal Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee, earning a Master of Divinity degree. On Saturday August 10th, 2024 Dwight Buckner Jr. was duly consecrated as a Bishop in the Lord’s church and affirmed as an Apostle.
Buckner founded and currently serves as senior pastor at Generation of Hope Church in Decatur, GA. Having the ability to start with less and thrive Apostle Dwight utilizes his influence to inspire people daily to never lose hope.
Apostle Buckner is the founder of My Purpose Mentorship (MPMP), a program designed to help people discover their life’s purpose, and has authored four books: “Breaking the Cycle of Lust”, “5 Things Every Man Needs”, “Overlooked”, and “The David’s Are Coming”. In addition to his writing, Buckner was prominently featured on Lifetime’s “Married at First Sight,” season 12, as a spiritual advisor. He is a national public speaker and relationship advisor currently available for media inquiries and speaking opportunities.
Buckner resides in Atlanta, GA with his wife, Elisa Bennett Buckner and two children, Elias Dwight Buckner and Malachi Caleb Buckner.
